Art & Photography
The branding of the 2026 NSW Landcare & Local Land Services Conference draws inspiration from conference theme The Sum of It All to create and collate a collection of art and photography representing Landcare and Local Land Services across New South Wales.
These images capture the landscapes, communities and natural systems that connect us across the state, and have shaped the visual identity of the conference.
Artist profile: Sophie Chauncy
"I am a local artist living and working in Morundah, on the Yanco Creek. My practice is strongly influenced by regional Australia, with a focus on conservation, biodiversity and the landscapes I’m connected to. I grew up on a farm in the Riverina, and that experience continues to shape the way I observe and respond to land, water and working country.
Working primarily in mixed media on paper, my illustrations draw on native flora and fauna, waterways and agricultural landscapes. I was commissioned to create a suite of illustrations for the NSW Landcare & Local Land Services Conference 2026, responding to the theme The Sum of It All. I’m proud to contribute artwork to a project that reflects the values of Landcare and the places it supports."
